"I have bought Lacto Calamine Super Light Moisturising Gel in the past and on comparing it with this, I found Pond's Moisturising Gel far better. It has the same ingredients as Lacto Calamine one, with it only missing Vit E. Since it has niacinamide(mentioned in ingredients) and is gel based it is good for oily skin as it gets absorbed fast and does not leave behind any residue like lotions or creams. Lacto Calamine gel was very greasy(thick) upon application and the greasiness remained after quite some time but Pond's gel is very light and non greasy and quickly gets absorbed in skin in time. The fragrance is a bit strong though, it smells like perfume but since it gets quickly absorbed in the skin, the smell doesn't linger on and hence it doesn't bother me at all! They could have gone for more natural fragrance though, that could have been much better. It does not have that cooling effect which Lacto Calamine has so keep that in mind. All in all the gel is quite good and is far cheaper than other moisturising gels available in the market provided you buy it at big sales where it gets down to around 210 rupees, I recommend it for buying!"
