Ajmal Kuro is considered a great value for money, with users highlighting its affordable price point (around $20-$30 USD) compared to its high-end inspirations, making it an accessible option for a quality fragrance.
Some users have reported that the initial spray of Ajmal Kuro can be perceived as sharp or irritating, though this often subsides as the fragrance dries down.
Concerns have been raised about the bottle design, with some users finding it too thin and prone to tipping over, and the cap has been described as flimsy or loose, which can detract from the overall premium feel.
While many find Kuro to perform well, some users have experienced issues with performance, noting it doesn't last as long as Dior Sauvage and can have drastically different dry-downs after a couple of hours.

Ajmal Kuro is a men's Eau de Parfum that targets everyday wear across office settings, casual outings, and semi-formal occasions, with spring and summer as its primary seasons. The fragrance delivers a spicy, woody, and aromatic character with a stated longevity of 6 to 10 hours on skin. Across 159 verified reviews on 5 platforms, it earns a Flash AI Score of 83 out of 100, with strong scores in value (95) and longevity (85). The overall review consensus positions Kuro as a fragrance that consistently delivers above its price category.
The note pyramid structures the scent experience clearly. Bergamot, jasmine, pepper, and lavender open the fragrance, delivering a fresh, slightly sharp burst in the first 15 to 30 minutes. Cinnamon, geranium, cypress, and elemi form the heart, adding spice and green depth that shift the character toward warmth and structure. Cedarwood, patchouli, vetiver, amber, ambergris, musk, and sandalwood anchor the base, building a rich, woody dry-down that sustains projection well into the later hours. Ajmal formulates Kuro as a spray EDP, made in India, in a 90 ml bottle weighing 85 g. The rich, multi-layered base drives the high longevity scores in review analysis.
Kuro suits men who want a structured, long-lasting daily fragrance without heavy spending. The fresh-masculine profile performs well in professional environments, and reviewers consistently describe it as clean-smelling and non-offensive at close range. Users who spray on clothing rather than skin report longevity extending well beyond the stated 6 to 10 hours. That said, some reviewers note an initial sharpness on the first spray that takes a few minutes to settle into the dry-down. Anyone with fragrance sensitivity should test a small amount before committing to a full bottle. The bottle design draws consistent criticism: some users find the base too narrow and prone to tipping, and some describe the cap as loose and flimsy, which undercuts the overall premium feel. A minority of users also report inconsistent dry-down performance after the first couple of hours, suggesting skin chemistry plays a meaningful role in how the scent develops.

"Yup nearly smells like dior sauvage which smells like 🧼🫧 It's a safe fragrance for office use. Don't buy this thinking this is done kind of exotic fragrance. It's not. It belongs to safe, clean smelling category, the same as sauvage, cool water etc. So some of you might be disappointed. But as a sauvage user i already knew what to expect so I was not surprised in the least. I only bought this for the purpose of reviewing. So, the big question, how does it compare to dior in sauvage? Well, I'm happy to say this is one of the few clones that come very close to the original. I'd say armaaf ventana is a little more closer than this. Now compared to sauvage itself, kuro is a little more sharper than sauvage, so initial notes might feel too Shari to the point of irritation, it doesn't hold as long as sauvage, but it's a clone, and can be resprayed. Lasted about 5.5 hrs on testing cloth (pure cotton 100tc) don't know about skin. Diffusion is uneven at times because the atomiser quality is not as good as dior's. Verdict: recommended to buy, this and ventana stand apart in this price segment and in this fragrance category ( safe and clean) People looking for exotic spicy perfumes, don't buy this and then give bad reviews because you had unrealistic expectationsm just saying."
"Ajmal Kuro Really Very Nice Smelling Fragrance. Vials is very nice and Amazing atomizer. Well done Smytten for Providing Good Sample."
"Very good for warm weather. In winter it does not perform too well like in heat. The smell is nice, sweet, but with sweetness there is a masculine touch, not very fresh smell but very nice smell. Projection is not too much, someone has to come close to you to feel nice, but it lasts long. 5spray on clothes lasts all day, but on skin it fades after 4-5 hours. A non offensive everyday perfume."
Apply Kuro to pulse points on damp skin, including the wrists, neck, behind the ears, and the inner elbows. Damp skin helps the fragrance bind and extends staying power. Spraying lightly on clothing pushes wear time well beyond the 10-hour mark, though the initial sharp opening note may linger longer on fabric.
Kuro works well for office settings, casual outings, and semi-formal occasions. The fresh, clean, aromatic profile makes it non-offensive in close-proximity environments such as workplaces. The specs list spring and summer daytime wear as the primary use case, though the woody base gives it enough depth for semi-formal evenings too.
The top notes are bergamot, jasmine, pepper, and lavender, which open with a fresh and slightly sharp character in the first 15 to 30 minutes. The heart notes of cinnamon, geranium, cypress, and elemi add warmth, spice, and green depth. The base notes of cedarwood, patchouli, vetiver, amber, ambergris, musk, and sandalwood create a rich, woody dry-down that carries the scent through the later hours.
Reviewers report 6 to 8 hours of wear on skin, consistent with the stated longevity of 6 to 10 hours. Spraying on clothing extends this significantly, with some users detecting the scent well past the 10-hour mark. Results vary depending on skin type, skin chemistry, and the number of sprays applied.
Some reviewers note that the opening spray feels sharp or intense for the first few minutes before the dry-down begins. This sharpness generally subsides as the fragrance develops through its heart and base notes. Anyone with fragrance sensitivity should test a small amount on skin before purchasing a full 90 ml bottle.
Eau de Parfum sits above Eau de Toilette in fragrance concentration, meaning it contains a higher percentage of fragrance oil. This translates to stronger projection and longer longevity, typically 6 to 10 hours compared to 3 to 5 hours for lighter formats. Kuro's EDP concentration directly contributes to its high longevity score of 85 out of 100 in review analysis.
Ajmal Kuro is available across 15 sellers, with prices starting from ₹1999 for the 90 ml EDP. Comparing prices across multiple online platforms gives you the best chance of finding the lowest available rate. The price can go up to ₹3000 depending on the seller, so checking multiple listings before purchasing is worthwhile.
Kuro opens with a fresh, aromatic burst from bergamot and lavender, moves through a warm, spicy cinnamon heart, and settles into a woody, musky base. Reviewers describe the projection as noticeable, with a scent trail that others around you can detect for the first 2 to 3 hours. After that phase, the fragrance draws closer to the skin in a warmer, more intimate dry-down.
The specs list spring and summer daytime wear as the primary seasons for Kuro, and reviewers describe the fragrance as fresh and clean-smelling, which suits warmer conditions. Given the strong EDP concentration, 2 to 3 sprays rather than a heavy application works better in high heat to keep the scent from becoming overpowering. The fresh aromatic opening performs well in warm weather before the woody base takes over.
Store the bottle in a cool, dark location away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humidity. Avoid keeping it in the bathroom, where temperature fluctuations from steam can degrade the fragrance over time. Keep the cap securely closed between uses, and note that some users find the cap to be loose, so handling the bottle with care during storage is advisable.
